LAMINATION PERFORMANCE

Bond strength after washing.

The catalog reproduces a December 2025 composite carpet washing-resistance test. Six specimen groups were measured before and after ten simulated home-laundry cycles.

These results concern the tested flame-laminated composite samples. They are not finished electric blanket electrical safety certifications or a universal performance guarantee for every material.

PUBLISHED DATA

Initial and post-wash peel strength.

Sample groupInitial (N)After washing (N)Retention
Sample 1 · Group 133.6027.0880.6%
Sample 1 · Group 230.7023.8677.7%
Sample 1 · Group 329.6023.4579.2%

Sample 2 · Group 237.6027.2472.5%
Sample 2 · Group 331.4022.2670.9%

* Sample 2, Group 1 retained 53.2%, below the 70% level noted in the catalog. The catalog reports no delamination or structural defect in this group; it attributes the variation to sampling or local stress. The raw report should be reviewed before using these data for a purchase acceptance criterion.

TEST CONTEXT

What the figures cover.

  • Cycle: ten simulated home-laundry cycles, each with a 30-minute wash, three rinses, spin drying and air drying.
  • Method: three 20 × 5 cm specimens in both warp and weft directions; peeled on a tensile tester at constant speed to 10 cm.
  • Criteria: the catalog reports bond strength above 10 N for the tested samples and no delamination or structural defects after ten cycles.
  • Separate field observation: a Japanese customer's products reportedly showed no delamination after nine full machine washes and passed tensile checks. The detailed field report is not provided on this website.

The catalog references GB/T 38193-2019, ISO 4674-1:2005, GB/T 3921-2008, FZ/T 62010-2003 and GB/T 6529-2008 in its test context. The exact scope and applicable acceptance limits should be checked against the underlying report and your own product requirements.

BEFORE ORDERING

Validate with your actual material.

Fabric, foam, lamination setup and washing method can change the outcome. Ask for a sample run on your own materials and agree on the test method before setting final acceptance terms.
